Please note the new rules of the embassy of Iraq:
1- Invoice, Certificate of Origin, or packing list must be certified from your local chamber of commerce.
2- Invoice, Certificate of Origin, or packing list must be also notarized and certified from your secretary of state.
3- Products must be made in USA
4- If either of the Invoice, Certificate of Origin, or the packing list is made
on more than one page.
you must number the pages (example: page 1 of 2, page 2 of 2)
otherwise the embassy will charge you $160 per page.
New Instructions Effective May 1,
2012 :
You must include one of the following three documents:
A
Bill of lading for goods, certified by the
Consular Section at
the Iraqi Embassy in the United States or the
country of origin.
And
an
Inspection certificate issued by any inspection
company recognized internationally,
certified by the Consular Section at
the Iraqi Embassy in
the United States or the country of origin.
And
an
Insurance policy on the shipment of goods,
certified by the Consular Section at the Iraqi Embassy in the United
States or the country of origin.
There is no charge
to certify this extra document, but it must be included
